I’m pretty new to the CHI hair family. I recently bought their basic straightener and have been able to style my hair better than ever before. The way it straightens my hair is better than any other kind of straightener I’ve tried throughout the years. I was psyched to just have the straightener and was surprised when I found out they have a whole line of CHI hair products. I had no idea. But my straightener came with a small bottle of the CHI Silk Infusion, which makes my hair so soft and to make things even better - I think it smells great. I decided to check out their other goodies and my new favorite is the CHI Shine Infusion Thermal Polishing Spray. I just spray it on after I straighten my hair and it gives my hair a beautiful sheen all over. It also has that familiar CHI product smell that I love - I don’t wear perfume anymore…just CHI hair products as I style! It doesn’t weight my hair down and I just haven’t been happier with any other hair products on the market. I may be late to the game but I am going to be part of the CHI hair product family for a long time to come….

Don’t you just love Amy Adams? She’s a great actress, and she seems like such a sweetheart! Plus, that hair! I can’t think of a more radiant redhead currently gracing Hollywood’s red carpet events. At the recent Golden Globe Awards, Amy showed up looking absolutely resplendent. I suppose it could be due to the little bundle of joy she’s expecting shortly, but I’m not sure that would account for how lovely her hair looked! I have been using CHI hair products for years now and hands down, one of my favorite can’t-live-without products is the CHI silk infusion reconstructing product. There is a little bit of magic in this bottle. First, on a purely personal level, I love the way it smells. It is almost a touch masculine in scent and I think it gives my hair a sexy fragrance. But on an efficiency level? This stuff rocks. Here is how to use the silk infusion:
1. Use it on wet hair! Before you blow dry, before you straighten.
2. Depending on the length of your locks, use just a small amount. Dime size for shoulder-length and shorter and only slightly more for longer hair. A little goes a long way.
3. Rub the sparing amount in your palms and then smooth into your hair. Focus on the ends of your hair and avoid your roots.
4. Now that it is in your hair, use a comb to further distribute the serum evenly.

I will be the first to admit that I have not taken very good care of my hair. I have always battled with it and tried to manipulate it to whatever hair trend was happening at the moment. I was the victim of a bad perm in the 80s. I have no idea what the natural color of my hair since I dye it depending on the season. Flat Irons: What Size Do You Need?
Like curling irons, flat irons come in a variety of different sizes. Chi hair products, including straighteners, are available in many different plate sizes, from less than an inch to more than two inches across. But what size do you actually need for your hair? The answer depends on the length and texture of your hair.

I am such a big High School Musical fan and I think Vanessa Hudgens is gorgeous. Her hair always looks wavy and flawless. But when I saw this picture of her recently with straight hair, I was blown away.
